  • MI3US | ET2US These are the original QSL (acknowledgements of radio contact) cards from the Post Ham Shack. The MI3US was the call letters authorized by the British Administration from 1941 to 1953. The ET2US was authorized by the Ethiopian Government until the close of Kagnew. Individual operators also had their own call letters authorized by the government of Eritrea. (mine was ET2MW) It is to be noted that a daily radio contact was the Ham Shack in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Their call letters were HZ1AB (chances are it is still in use).
