| These were sent to me by Ted's sister.... Ted ran the CIAAO
Hotel from 1960-62 along with his wife Lou. Ted was a SSGT who retired in 1962
and is still living in the New Orleans area. He just turned 80! His wife passed
away a few years back. I spend 8 months in Massawa working for Ted - a great

Ted came to Asmara in 1959 then ran the R & R CIAAO Hotel in Massawa from 1960/61-62 along with his wife Lou. Ted was a SSGT in the Army who retired in 1962 after serving 20 years and is still living in the New Orleans area. He turned 80 in 2003! His wife Lou passed away in 2002.
