AFRTS Preface

This is a working summary of information gathered with the cooperation of many who served in the Asmara area. My special thanks to the OIC at the time of my tenure, Frank R. Griffiths, whose assistance has been invaluable. He was able to provide important "official" information in several areas. Jerry Pry also deserves a special salute for his generous efforts in stimulating input from the few who were there when broadcast service began.
