Kagnew Station

We have recieved some special photos from Boyce Cox in St. Augustine, FL. He received them from Tewelde Stephanos of California who recently visited Asmara in April this year. If you look in the lower right corner of the picture, you can see the day they were shot. They show the road leading up to the Kagnew Station maingate and a little closer view of the maingate itself. As you can see, the pix were taken from inside a car, so we're not sure if taking pictures of Kagnew is prohibited. We have learned that taking pix of military installations is forbidden. All we can say is we're excited to bring them to you.
