This was my 1970 Lightning 650cc BSA. I actually had two of these while I was there. My future wife Almaz making morning tea for me outside her parent’s house in Bete Gebriel. Bete Gebriel is just east of Adi Qala on the road to Axum.. Another picture of Almaz’s parent’s house. Eating zigny with Almaz in 1969. Almaz and Marco now.
