Company B Concourse
by Professor Jim "Fize" Moriarty
Now that the Service Club is open to 3:30 am. (0330), B Company personnel are well provided with studying facilities. Some 13 Company people take University of Maryland courses, while others take correspondence courses. After the Service Club closes, the guys from B Company have hot coffee at the Bowling Alley, then mosey over to the B Company day room to continue their studies. Who says the Post is run for Straight Day people?

One of the Company poets was going downtown for a poetry reading when he remembered that he forgot his notes. He turned around and headed back for the company area — thus, he made a turn for the verse.

One fellow we knew who enjoyed eating dog biscuits and
barking at the moon was questioned at Ft. Monmouth about this by the resident psychologist:

Why are you eating dog biscuits ?
"Well, they are high in protein, low in sugar, good for my teeth; they brighten my eyes, give me a glossy coat, and don't crumble in the pockets of our fatigues."

"Are you putting me on"
To show that he wasn't, said fellow told the psychologist to send someone around to see how many students were eating dog biscuits. The result: 95 per cent ate dog biscults. Reason: Mess hall grease there had caused many individuals to get ptomaine poisoning — turning to gainesburgers and dog biscuits alleviated the problem.
