This is a picture of the Kagnew Station Honor Guard which was made up of the Guard Co. MP's of about 40 personnel, which I was one of. This picture was taken in 1955 or 56 and was taken when emperor Haile Selassie was entering the base and was escorted through the ranks. It was one of the highlights during my tour of duty. The two men in front are Lt. Harris and Sgt. Green.
